CONFIDENCE AND COURAGE

Hello beloved sister/brother, I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Today’s lesson is about being confident and this is who we are, God (the most High) created us this way. But before we talk about confidence, we should learn what courage is and being courageous. Simply, courage is the strength (within one’s heart and mind) to face painful and grieving (sometimes shameful) situation for the glory of God (the most High). Where do these strengths come? They come from being confident of what you believe. Whatever you believe will make you alike, you believe in weakness (you will be weak) or you believe in strength (you will be strong). God (the most High) is our strength (Psalm 28:7 & 8, Psalm 18:1, Isaiah 12:2, Jeremiah 16:19). Therefore, just believing in God (the most High) is confidence because through Him (the most High God) we can achieve and overcome anything. Just anything, this at the end will glorify our Lord and give us honor.

Confidence is believing in your faith (our faith is the Lord, the most High God). Remember, God is the strongest rock on which we anchor our faith. With God (the most High) we face any challenge, pain, grief, sickness and illness, difficulty and whatever blocking our ways (our faith, health, economy e.t.c) with courageous and confident hearts (Joshua 1:9 & Psalm 3:26). Because God (the most High) is our strength and He will never forsake us in the middle of the wilderness. It is the natural behavior of our God (the most High) to protect and provide for us when we are in the wilderness (this can be anything, frightens and weakens our spiritual and physical well-being) through Jesus Christ our Lord. Sometimes when we look back and recall how we managed the worst and scariest moments we find no how. It was God (the most High) who carried us through (Psalm 23:4).

God (the most High) is calling upon us to be confident and courageous as long as our faith is anchored on Him. Fear (lack of confidence and courage) is the weakest point through which downfall of anything starts. With God (the most High) through Jesus Christ, fear nothing, be confident and courageous. God is going to take you through whatever painful, grieving or deadly situation breaking your bones right now. The victory and the glory will be like never felt before.

Please meditate the following Bible verses about confidence and courage
Psalm 27:3
"Though an army besieges me, my heart will not fear; though war breaks out against me, even then I will be confident."
Joshua 1:9
"This is my command, be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord, your God is with you wherever you go."
Hebrews 13:6
"So we say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?'”
James 1:12
"God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward, they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him."
Hebrews 10:35–36
"Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised."
1 Corinthians 16:13
“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.”

Psalm 112:7

“They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD.”

2 Timothy 1:7

“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.”

Isaiah 54:4

“Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.”

1 Corinthians 15:58

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

MARRIAGE: DEFINITION, ORIGIN, PURPOSE AND HAPPINESS

Dear brother/sister, greetings in the name of Jesus Christ.

Today I want to share with you a very minor part of our powerful, lovely and interesting book, "SECRETS FOR A HAPPIER MARRIAGE". It is impractical having an enjoyable, lovely, romantic and happier marriage...such kinds of relationships only exist in romantic movies or love story books.

Most people thinks and believes that, happiness in marriage is a day-time dream. This can be associated with most of proverbs/sayings about marriage;
.....who are outside (unmarried) want to get in (into marriage) and the inside (married) want to get out (break-up/divorce)....
 .....marriage is tolerance....

Before getting marriage, one should understand what is marriage? origin of marriage? purpose of marriage? And the most important is Biblical marriage. Civilization and globalization are spoiling this world and the creatures in it. Spoiling marriages' happiness resulting to increasing of marital violence and divorces. These issues are making the world unsafe place. Because any cruelty and bitterness, tears and regrets are attributed by violence and divorce in marriages.

While majority of married couples find regrets in their marriages, there are minority who finds happiness, love and sweet in their marriages. Behind any happier, lovely, sweet and romantic marriage there are secrets. These secrets are revealed in the Holy Bible. The book of "SECRETS FOR A HAPPIER MARRIAGE" is going to make open these secrets to you, on your finger tips! In this book, things like; meaning or definition of marriage, origin of marriage, same sex marriage (homosexuality), anal sex, courtship, parenting, marital conflicts, what is needs to create happier marriage and many more are discussed in details.

Below are some few lines extracted from Chapter one of "SECRETS FOR A HAPPIER MARRIAGE".....enjoy reading.
You can get your copy; Ebook for $1.99 only and Paperback for $5.50 or free with KINDLE UNLIMITED only from AMAZON.COM

In the beginning, God created a beautiful garden, a garden full of every species of plants and animals, gemstones; gold and onyx are clearly stated in the book of Genesis, chapter 2 verses 8 to 15. This garden was named Eden, and God created man, Adam and put him in the garden (God gave Adam this garden) so he can live there while keeping it. Everything in the garden was given to Adam, except one thing, the midst tree of knowledge of good and evil. The midst tree was not a deal to Adam, he lived there without a concern about the tree. But there was something missing, love. God noticed, so He created woman, Eve. Adam was then complete.
Marriage is spirituality, bodily and sexuality combination with everlasting covenant between two people of different sexes, male and female in the presence of God and some witnesses. However, marriage is a broad term, can be defined differently according to different perspectives. The above meaning of marriage refers Christianity and holy Bible point of views.
Genesis 2:20b, 18 and 24. “…there was not found a helper comparable to him (Adam)…it is not good that man (Adam) should be alone, I (God) will make him a helper comparable to him…therefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined (connected) to his wife, so does wife, and they shall become one flesh…”. God is the origin of marriage.

IMPROVE YOUR REASONING

Luke 18:9-14

“Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’
“But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
“I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

It is never how loud and/or shout you will be in praying that will attracts God's attentions ...but it is how reasonable your prayers' context will be before Him.
