TAKE IT BY FORCE

  Mathew 11:12 “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force”.

Jesus invites us all into the kingdom of His Father in heaven, He said in His Father’s house there are  many mansion and He went to prepare a place for us then He will come back to receive/welcome us. Where He is, we may also be there. (John 14:2-3).

But the scripture above tells us that, the kingdom of heaven is taken by force because it suffers violence and the violent takes it. This means being saved only is not enough to take the kingdom of heaven, you need to be violent. Then what kinds of violation is He talked about?

Violation is fail to comply with something /somebody. The world today is full of evil doings, full of each and every kind of sin as those in Sodom and Gomorrah. And what known as globalization is the style of life in nowadays, in which people get lost from the sight of God. Globalization turns all sins into civilization life, to be going with time the world needs to go against God’s commandments. Here comes the meaning of the scripture above, what Jesus was meaning by saying the violent will take it… to go against the world and bad globalization matters means you violate the laws of the world and sometimes people may call you not an up to date person. For the world’s laws, doing sins means an up to date person, then not doing sins is violating the laws of this world.

  Mathew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me”.

Denying yourself means going against anything evil in this world; against clubs, adultery, theft, alcoholism and anything like those things mentioned, choosing the holy life. And take up your cross and follow Him means no matter what will face you on the way never give up, never get back, move forward. On the way, satan will try to cause you give up, he will send you temptations but always keep your eyes on Jesus’ cross where you will find answers. This is the kind of violation meant by the scripture, and you are the violent violating satan’s kingdom.
